Damn man, you're a machine!
How long do you ride each day. I can manage about 10 gallons per day

Was planning on breaking in this Jetworks stroker i just got from Art in Daytona this weekend but when i installed the MSD i got from Gorilla and it back fired and blew up my water box, long exhaust hose and blew out my crank gaskets that plan was toast, burnt toast at that . I threw in 62T CDI and ran like a charm !! Other then the engine bay being full of 2 stroke smoke. Best Part is he told me im pretty much SOL and should of tested it myself when i got it. When i sell used parts and they dont work i replace part or refund money but i guess my standards for business may be to high ? IDK

Today was a light day because I had to take my brother to the airport @ noon. Ride about 3hours today. Burned 6gallons taking it easy, as the surf was pretty much flat (1.5' choppy mush on set). Between my brother and I, we burned just over 55gallons so far in the past 6 days. My record is 7 days of surf riding in a row...trying to break that this time. Multiday Jetski surf bootcamp vacations rule because you actually get to progress your riding skills alot in a short time. Of course your body gets pretty beat up...lol

My surf weekends are always interspersed with family time, running after kids and/or dog, and bs'ing with friends I have not seen in a while.

Thats what the weekends are like here. Theres other riders in the beach, friends to BS with ect. When you go Mon-Thurs 99% of the time your the only ski on the beach. I will be the first person to admit I am selfish, and love having the whole ride zone area to myself....lol!

On another note... with how much big money people drop on there skis, it surprises me more people do not take week long riding trips like this to really get to use them alot! There's nothing like getting to the beach early and having glassy waves all to yourself for days on end. Daytona might be the best for this. The cops have been awesome to us, keeping things safe throwing kayakers, swimmers, fisherman, surfers, ect out of the jetski zone all week.

Like I said man....I'm super jealous. I got four days of riding at Surf Slam coming up.
I'm thinking about competing in amateur, but I don't want to take away from my freeride time! :lmao:

im with you on this one. i love riding here.

And youre right about beach patrol. most of them are really cool. theyre are some to watch out for, but they rarely come around.

What a great week of riding, but my elbow and shoulder were too sore to ride the last day. Just made it back to NJ a few hours ago. Made my hotel reservation for the freeride. Freeride is 5months from this past weekend!!!

Meh, save your entry fees and buy fuel so we can tear it up!!! You know us old guys, first on the beach, last off...

I think you're right.
I know I am, ride all day then relax and watch the finals! My time on the water is measured in hours remaining....eventually it will end so I need to get all I can while I still can.
