Day 43 and the "footgina:crutches:" is beginning to close up.:wiggle: All should be good for the Crystal Beach ride end of the month.:fingersx:

43 days! I'd be highly embarrassed if one of my patients took that long to heal a laceration even with a broken bone underneath. Did they not close it for you at all? Or did it just get a nasty infection?

I knew it had been too long the last time this came up, but 43 days?

Smack that doctor for me, cuz (s)he ought to be doing better for you than that.

that took 43 days to get that far? Are you on crutches? Have one really big shoe because its so puffy?

No crutches, shoe is normal just laced alot looser than the other foot. It was originally stitched up. I am not one who can take time off from work and just do nothing with my leg in the air, so I didn't. I missed about 1 1/2 hours of work to get it cleaned and stitched. This caused it to swell and it broke the stitches. The antibiotics have done their job beautifully as there has been no infection. It's getting better everyday. Look out Galveston, here I come.
