Damn yamaha 250 wont stay running

just get another 450...you will be all good after that. besides, the 250f's have enought trouble pulling your fat a$$ around anyways! hahahaha.

on a serious note, his bike sounds perfect when he goes to ride it, just now the crank started squeeling all of a sudden. but hell with my 2 stroke i haven't had much better luck either.

Rode the bike this weekend and it is the baddest dirtbike i have ever ridden! Balance is perfect, power is instant, and no flat spots anywhere in the power curve! Great job once again yamaha!! With this, and my 2 stroke fixed, i should have a pretty potent set of race bikes! And i made it through to regionals in all 4 of my classes as well so thats good too!

ok, well how bout this. this is the first time i ever thought yamaha produced a motor with more then 45hp. still didn't enjoy it as much as my ktm, but it made similar power!

The 450s are pretty fast, but they still feel like dogs to me.... A YZ250 should be untouchable and damn reliable. Something is screwed up with yours.

got the 250 back together. But i have got to say the new fuel injected 2010 in heavier by lbs, but feels liter and more nimble on the track. The FI yz 450 is the way to go!!!!!!
