Regardless, is suppose if you wanted a ideal curve, and to accomodate every power stroke, you would have to map out 8000 points, being that some ski's rev to 8k rpms or more. As for dual sparking, the Advent only fires once to both cylinders. Don't hold me to it, but I believe he has tried using two capacitors to fire independently instead of the one single used. It didn't perform any better than the single. As for the programming algorythm every 250 vs.25rpm, it's simply software. Sure it takes time to write more code, how much? Benefit?? As to the programming charge, only if it is custom do you pay the $75. The average rider will not do this. Some of the distributors have the programmer and may do it for free. How would you like everyone sending you their units and asking you to constantly re-program the ignition? You would charge too. I'm not trying to bust your chops, competition is good. Just trying to see how you derived your price point vs the performance gains/optimazation you are claiming to make. I was a sucker for the Vilder in the day, worked great for about 2 years and died. Didn't buy another.
