Damaged vanes

Took off the nozzle the other day and found this on the vanes...Is this pretty much going to mean a new pump? There's damage at the 4:00 and 8:00 positions.

nah no new pump from what i can see, that can be repaired im not sure who does it but my guess would be impros basically they weld it and then grind it, if you weld or know someone who does you might be able to do it yourself.

I did look at impros...they start the pricing at $95 for the most basic vane repair and it goes up for anything more. How much more would a decent used pump cost?

for just a pump(vane section) and drive shaft goes for an average of $150 around on this site.

What kind of negative effects are associated with this? I assume performance is hurt some but anything else? Would it be fine to ride it like this for another week or two without any other serious problems coming up?

should be fine....I wouldnt even worry about it unless you can feel cavitation...

if it makes you feel better dremel the edges smooth and remove any cracked areas...

Looks like a Kawi pump. If so, you can get a good used pump for under $100 on ebay. But like was mentioned above, probably not a big deal.
