So I broke down and bought a square nose yesterday from Scorn 800 (john). I have to say it is clean. It’s a 92 with the original mats. It has a 61x cylinder with 6m6 cases. My plan is a LPW ported 760, X-Metal pole, Scupper, and Footholds so far. I am playing with the idea of doing a watercraft factory top deck $$ permiting.

Why not is the question. Im not sure yet if I will i am still putting together the budget for it.

Your list is exactly what I did with mine. You wont be disappointed in it. I'm also considering the wfc top deck too. Possibly over the winter if money allows.

Yeah, porting helps out allot on these motors.

I would like to see you keep your original top deck Rock the square man! That porting mismatch is typical from what I've seen as well. Let me know if I can help at all. I'm pretty much around the 'corner'.
