I was cutting my tray out with a small air die grinder with a thin metal cutting wheel. Wasnt working out so good. The wheel was actually taking quite a beating and it took forever. I also tried an electric multi tool deal. I couldnt make good curves with that. Whats the best thing to use? Types of wheels, types of tools.
Also underneith the tray where the tray mates to the pump housing part, there was some type of epoxy or glue there, green in color. I plan to reuse those after I defoam and refoam. What type of glue should I replace the factory stuff with? Im going to be running straps instead of holds so i was questioning if I reglassed my tray my self would it be thik enough and strong enough to run a strap install kit similar to blowsions. Those inserts that you epoxy into the tray really should grab a good think area right? Advice would be appreciated thanks.
