Crank Seal install SXR

Does it matter if the crank seals are placed with the copper out or in? Can I run them either way? Stock SXR motor rebuild....

The 2 double lip seals are metal side out. The rear single lip seal is metal in.

Is the double lip seal on the inside or outside of the single?
