Weekend carnage, YAY!!! :arms:
So I am out riding with Suva, at Dworshak reservoir. We're just messing around, and this kid on an older Polaris keeps zooming by.
I figured I could probably take him on on top end, so I was going to give it a shot.
As he comes my way, I come about and nail it.
I need to add here that water conditions were choppy, and my ski has no rev limiter.
Eh, no problem for an "experienced" rider :bs2: like me, right? :haha:
This last for a whole 3-5 seconds before my pump comes unhooked and I don't get off the throttle soon enough.
The driveline spins up to what's probably 10k+ RPM and then comes back down into the water.
Instant horrible noise, terrible vibration, ski slowing down quickly. I am thinking the most awful thoughts about piston crown imprints on my hoodliner, but then I my engine started revving again.
Strangely, it doesn't move the ski. :crying:
The kid on the Polaris turned around and kindly towed me in. :cheer:
Here's the lovely results.
