no jetskis..just paddle power but it was super good...just my buddy and i out..couple feet overhead-double overhead with some cleanup sets in the 20ft face range...we both broke our leashes and had a long swim in I took some beatings..you need to be a strong paddler for this spot and be able to hld your breath haha i was picking off the insiders..not enough cajones to push myself over the ledge on the big ones..thought u might like to see the waves...the glare got really bad so she couldn't shoot photos at the end..my buddy got a moster and got a sick ride but she missed it..

this one kinda shows the size...you can see me paddling over the top on the right of the frame

this winter is really shaping up nice..got the best wave of my life yesterday...1/4mile long ride on a sandy drainer at a world class right point that only breaks a few times a year..i love winter

When it's big like that (the pictures don't show the size) not many people surf it cause it's really hard to get out and your going to take a serious beating so u could ride it but if u mess up ur are done. Rock boneyard on the inside that you would be in big trouble if u sank and got washed through. But that day would have been the day to get tubed on a ski. The big ones were super hollow but like I said if u mess up your ski is gone. Plus it's probably the most rugged/remote part of the coast around. Your on your own out there. Maybe someday...Taylor, Chad and I have ridden there but it was super small..also it's pretty much the hardest place to get good. You really have to have the conditions dialed in or it won't be good which is fine by me cause if it's blown out I go kite if not go for a surf..the way the wave hits the reef is insane. It comes
out of deep water and then jacks up big time. If u could get in the right spot with your ski u could get slotted along the whole reef. It's just a matter of the risk being worth the reward.

Thats Sick Andrew- what a score! We didn't get it quite as big down here, the sets were only about a couple of feet overhead but it was just as clean (We had a few A+ days) My skis down now so I'm surfing tomorrow. I'm amped now- thanks for the stoke!

yea it's a little scary when u are hanging up in the lip about to get pitched and the whole insde is just boiling not to mention there are 6-7 more waves stacking up out the back behind u..or having to swim through it with no board while solid sets are coming through haha
