I have seen the light!:smashfreakB:

The wave god's have demanded I make penance for my sins. So I must confess that I have spent more than a year on this site. I have learned a whole lot (still got lots to learn!) I have talked alot of smack (still got lots of smack to talk!) And I have met a lot of great people and made some awesome friends...

...But up until the last two days I had never ridden my own stand-up jet-ski. I have been a devote couch rider... but that has all changed. I have 90% of my couches for sale (I have to keep a couple for the family and my old-lady!) But as far as it goes for me nothing compares to riding a stand-up.:love:

Weds: I went out and rode 3-5ftrs on Lake Erie... I spent the whole day and a tank of gas on my knees or in the water behind the ski. I got my a$$ kicked and didn't think I would walk ever again.:crutches: But it was a blast!:arms:

Yestarday::crutches: I rode through 2 full tanks standing the whole time. (Well I wrecked a couple times!) I had a friend with me on one of my couches and I didn't even want to get off the 750 to let him try it...


So anyways thanks to you guys for helping me see the light... No I need more power and more speed, oh and a way shorter pole! :sneaky:

Yea its time to find a roundnose SuperJet if you are really this pumped Monkey. I would not put 10 cents in that thing. You are 6' friggin 5" man....You are gonna need a loaded round nose with -6 or 8 and a killer prop.

And all this time I thought you rode stand up!!!!

Although, I used to really just like to ride my blaster and this year all I want is the superjet...even put her up for sale as I wanted my own rn but just couldn`t part with her!

I also want more POWER.....MORE POWER.....lol!

Haha.. I've been on here over 2 years and own only a sitdown. But a blown disk will prevent me from converting unfortunately. Doesn't mean I can't ride one, just can't do it fulltime. I'll just be a vulture and use everyone else's toys.

lol...i've never ridden a sit-down. But I've always liked the looks of a stand-up. And I was amazed by them when I was a kid. I was practically born on the water...and my family has owned a '87 Malibu Skier since new...and I've been slolam skiing since I was 9. So basically couches are gay and one day I'll own an SJ...

1) I have owned a stand-up for almost a year but it took me this long to get it running and ride it all by myself. :Banane09:

2) I have ridden other people's stand-ups since day one on this site... :beerchug:

3) I bought the kawi based on advice from you guys on this site... I don't think a superjet will work the tray is too small... and I am starting to bleed green literally!

4) I think I need a RN or SN pole that is like -6 or -8 something silly I am sure! Ideas anyone?

Welcome to the dark side! Theres no going back now! I had a sit down for about 2 months and got so bored with it since all my buddies had stand ups...I tried my bf's Super Jet and was hooked the minute I stood up! I traded my couch for a 650sx and been riding almost 2 months!! Theres nothing like it in my opinion!

you rode an sj then went to a kawi650? why didn't you stay with a sj? weren't you the girl selling the hot-pink vxr with the playboy bunny sticker on it a few weeks ago?

how hot would that have been to have that ski featured in playboy...that wouldve be awesome lol!! you should've tried to sell it to them!

Yes that was my sit down. Trust me I didn't want to get off the SJ...its my bf's so he let me try riding his for the first time...then when I fell inlove with the stand up I ended up trading that VXR with a guy for his 650...Yea it would have been awesome to have that in Playboy...I wish I would have had it when I went to the Mansion last year...oh well!!

Why on earth would you want to ditch your 650 for a sj? Who rides those anymore?? Find a fx1 drop in a d pipe and sj pump and call it a day!


I bought my 550 last summer without ever riding a stand up and loved it, stepped up to a fx1 this summer and loved it way more. Rode a SN with a b pipe and wasnt a huge fan. The prop was clearly for top end so i didnt think it had near the power of my fx1 but im sure if i held it wide open long enough it would have flew.
