I think I finally figured out what it is about this site that makes it so awesome...clowns. Yeah the other good stuff, the tech info and all the other awesome sub forums we have but me thinks that the real spice here is all the awesome clowns :D It would seem that not one day goes by where somebody doesn't say something intended to be hilarious and just in good fun...y'all are awesome! ....clowns lol

I too enjoy the thread clowns. It lightens the place up. The meme/gif thread is awesome! Tons of good guys here, I don't know how our hobby would grow without this place. The x has gotten me threw many days.

Yeah this site is great! I have always found it funny every time some of the technical guys (whom typically never post but seem to be lurkers) get so frustrated over the accurate/inaccurate/and second hand regurgitated technical post they choose to “hate” the site and its “keyboard cowboys” rather than have a laugh. This place is so much more BS and rib jabbing it makes for daily lol’s. Clowns are defiantly what make this site so great. Nice observation

My most recent observation of clownery...aside from the man OCD and his clown up there lol...is the for sale forum...look up 37's post regarding parts...hilarious! That!...my friends, is a first class clown :) My clown shoes are off to you good sir (Mr.37 that is). The rest of you clowns...keep it up, my red nose is off to all of you too :D

I just sold a bendix to @Harbor and am now down to one bendix. But, what the hell is the plural of bendix? Is it bendii, bendixes or bendices? Or, is it one of those words like 'deer' that the same word is used if singular, plural, hit by a car or shot with a rifle? Damn this English language.


@tzane - Your McMaster catalog is being professionally chauffeured by the best drivers I could find for under $20. As long as they don't break a wooden spoke or drop their buggy whip then you should see it sometime in 2017. They're packing extra powder and 50 cal musket balls to safely cross over the Florida border.

The sticky pages were... umm... an accident. I saw those sanitary napkin dispensers and got a bit agitated, then the hair net selection knocked a bottle of Elmer's glue onto the page. I swear it's Elmer's and nothing else. The bottle was already open. Yeah, that's it.

I just had a few people look at me weird. I'm sitting in Starbucks trying to pronounce bendix plurally.

I'll gently pry the pages apart for further use. I've been deprived of female attention so I should practice a bit. Sanitation napkin dispensers should be a good starting point.

LOL... tzane asked if there was any racy content and I jokingly said that the only "female" content in it was sanitary napkin dispensers and hair nets. Not exactly what he was looking for there. McMaster doesn't have any hot female models to show off the Tyvek suits or sexy hands to display the spherical rod ends. It's almost entirely black and white. It's a bad ass collection of content no less. I love getting new catalogs from them.
