Well, the Cleveland Crew are finally all up and running and we finally got some rideable waves here in Cleveland and I finally got the ol video camera out...this is from Thursday and Saturday. Still learning the new editing software and am still playing around with new effects and stuff. I used my wife's REALLY crappy camera, as I burned up one another of mine. Cameras don't really like sand and water that much..... :pancake:

Anyway, I am still having problems getting the sound to be decent (a lot of static) so no plumber smack talk yet, but the beach bullchit is flying like a drunk goose on acid....I'll get it figured out for the next one.:burnout:

(This version takes a long time to load!)

Korn, another awesome production. Even what you consider your rough takes are awesome! I like some of the cool new effects you got and used. The music rocked aswell. Cheered me right up I am going out of my mind out here trying to get home.

I think its time since your cam died to take the advice of rasper99 and chris and get a good dependable hi def cam!:stups: Your shooting and editing skilz are certainly more than worthy...
:banghead:... Waiting on the high quality download now! :banghead:

No hi-def cameras for me....too expensive to carry in my backpack on my ski in waves. Remember, I burn up cameras every year with sand and salt water. Why pay alot for me to just wreck them?? We aren't pro riders anyway....and the internet can't play hi def.

Plus....these vids are half as clear as if I burn them on DVD.

hopefully ill find my way into a video by years end, i just haven't have time to got my square nose up and running................ oops, did i just let the cat out of the bag

lol... :439: You can't keep flipper or whatever you call it running for longer than about 1 ride... (Not that I am much better with my SXI right now!:crutches:) Now you are trying to wrench on a Yamaha?

:sneaky:... oh crap I just potentially started a Kawi vs Yami fight!... Uh..oh!:sneaky:

Hey monster are you on the emailing list for when we ride? if not pm korn with your email address!

I didn't mean "real" "high-def" cameras... but the one's rasper is always after you to get! still awesome footage... did you order up some more ebay specials? what are they like $20?
When did I tell him to get a HD cam? Maybe Chris N. did.

I've had the same low end camcorder for 7 years. I had to have it repaired (Best Buy extended warranty) when a big dog hit the tripod and smashed it into the beach. It wouldn't eject tapes anymore.

I go out several times a year to the ocean where the water and spray are salty. Just take a little care of the dang camcorder. If mine isn't on the tripod it's in a camera bag.

DVD has twice as much info as the web vids DJ does. That's why it looks better on DVD. Just encode at 6000. Let's work on DVD images like we did for JT IV. Water is the worst thing on video. The whole scene is constantly changing. That is a very bad thing for video.

I'm going to guess firemedicmonkey is using wireless. Get closer to your router or hook up a network cable. Playing vids the way DJ turns them up to 3500 is the ultimate test. Hit play, hit pause then wait for it to get to 100%. I'm having an issue where it craps out with 36 seconds left. Could be a bad encoding or upload but no problem at 25%.

Don't forget to check out the Blowsion surf slam vids I put up today:

The worlds best hitting it hard in that crazy Northwest surf!

I've tried to train DJ but he is a bit slow sometimes.
