chris' 01 superjet RN re-build

most of this work was already done and i am starting the thread b/c im painting the ski but basically everythings getting gone through and chris will update you later on the other details but i will post the paint pics in progress

ski already had
wamiltons hood and nose
wamiltons rickter holds
shaved gas cap
reinforced nose
scupper

im redoing
paint (b/c the last shop mutilated it and it was horrible which mean more work for me:banghead: )
blowsion side reinforcement
handlepole reinforcement (with changing to xmetal dual breathers)
shaving pisser hole
fixing all cracks from being beaten on for 5 years:banghead: :banghead:
he will update later but i will put what i have gotten done so far

so i wish i would have taken pictures of the bottom b/c it was bad but i didnt b/c i forgot b/c every step i am used to just keep on working through to the next thing to get it done and i forget to take pics but put it this way

started sanding with 40grit on a DA
then to 80grit on a file
then 80grit on a DA
then to prime to see where i was at and see what cracks i had
then grind and fix cracks
sand and smooth those
then to 180grit DA
second prime
then 320 DA
then 320 wet by hand to give the finsihing touch by me:biggthumpup:
then color:bigeyes: :bigeyes:

wholy crap sometimes i wonder why i do this to myself:banghead:

Sweet job so far Danny! I think you are the Massive body and paint hero! Please ,please,please don't forget to get more pics! one of you actually painting is the money shot. paint being applied is pimp. primer and new paint half and half on the top and overspray blowing a little while you cover it-sweet picture. not many get to see that. I step in the booth for as long as I can hold my breath and watch because it is magic to watch it happen.

i def like the white bottom and i left quite a bit of silver in the front so it doesnt look too bad but the silver and white go very well together
and its porche silver so i thinkurr: thats an extra 15 hp:woot:

Yo, So Danny is the "hero of the year". My ski was trashed and he has brought it back. The ski is getting a new 830 motor from chucky at Team Scream and the paint as you can see. I just stop by the shop and the top is done. It's bad ass!! I cannot wait to take it to the beach and get the people looking. Well, more pics to come of the motor and complete build and thanks for the support from everyone on the colors. As for Danny, start sending the work to him. Not too many people that pride themselves in their work like he does and for a very good price. This is only the start of what he will do I'm sure and nobody will every touch my paint work again!! Keep up the good work man, you deserve it!!

well january 13-14 we're going to the huge daytona freeride. 200+skis!!!!

then febuary 11th or so daytona beach again to get another use out of our month pass.
