CF racing hood for flatwater freestyle?

I bought a used CF racing hood for my freestyle 750SX. Impule buy...

Now I'm having second thoughts about using it. The thing is so light and when you thump it it rings like a kitchen bowl. Will this thing hold up to flatwater freestyle? Repeated failed barrel roll attempts?

If I need to reinforce it, how would I do that?

Racing hoods are designed to be light and breath a lot of air. Freestyle hoods need to be light, durable & keep water out. If air goes in easily, so will water! In order to make your race hood worthy, the liner will need to be removed, all the ram air ducts blocked off & reinforec with additional layers of glass/carbon. reinstall the liner & install air tubes & baffle drains.
Sounds like a lot of work? Yes it is! The guys at Blowsion are the only ones I know who make a freestyle hood for the K750sx. You might want to call them ........... Ask for "Doc Wok" , tell him I sent ya

Here are the pics of the hood. It needs some handholds and strengthening or is should go.
