cf inside the hull

so i decided to reinforce my hull with cf.... the problem is the inside is painted with black paint that feels weird(kinda rubbery) what is the best way to remove this paint and the best tool to remove the ribs... Let me know! also how much cf should i order to do this and what kind?

1 yard will be enough to get to the sides and the bottom up to the gas tank. But you have to measure twice and cut once to make it work with only one yard.

Either chemicals or wire brush. Try using thinner or acetone. If it doesn't clean off easily, bring out the wire brush. Remove the ribs with a rotating sanding disc. Use a mask and try doing it outdoors. It is messy...

I used a carbon kevlar on my sides. Just make sure its not pre inpregnated. It made it very difficult to lay

its when they put resin on it before the sell it. it makes it hard and difficult to lay. I had to heat mine to get it to soak up resin and stick.

ya i agree i am pretty sure they dont, just some places do so just be carefull if you dont get it from them.
