Ceramic Coating A Mod Chamber???

Where can I send 3 B mod chambers and 2 timing covers to get chrome coated, ceramic coated, sterling coated? I called Jet Hot this am and they said they CANNOT do aluminum. A web address or business name and city and state so I can track em down would be GREATLY appreciated.

any local coating shop should be able to help you. i had my mod chamber coated this winter. $75. ceramic coating. color is called stainless steel.

I had mine done by A1 in Florida.... they did a very bad job, overcharged, and repeatedly never got back to me....

I would not recommend them.

How much did they charge you for your pipe?

I had my two pipes done there too and the only problem was they left some plastic balls trapped in the water dump inlet.

Was it A-1 Ceramacoat in Clearwater? They weren't plastic. They were zirconium or aluminum oxide. I think they are used in a post-coating polishing step. They were stuck right at the bend of that dump inlet and it was a pain to get them out.

Yep... It's about eighty bucks for the chamber and they use with plastic balls about the size of a BB.

The coating holds up way better than the chrome powder coating that FP uses.

The FP coating starts showing water spots and turns dark grey after a while.

The ceramic coating last for ever as long as it does not come in contact with any acids.

Also the ceramic coating you can polish with a buffer or cloth with some metal polish applied to it.

I just called Jet Hot and they accepted the order for my chamber... strange...

I know they have gave some people a hard time.... but they have also done a great job for other people... so I am going to give it a try to see what happens...

Jet-Hot does do aluminum. But you have to sign a waiver incase it warps. They did a whole batch of part for me last winter

I have heard that jet hot is good for chambers, but people have a lot of problems with head pipes.
