Case Bolts

Searched didn't come up with what I'm looking for..... :banghead:

what does everyone use on these bolts? I see on other areas you can use any of the following: grease, thread sealer, locktite but don't know if it matters on these bolts to the case halves.

Found out the hard way I now use red loctite.

1103 3 bond sealer and 23 ft-lbs of torque, I have never had any problems doing bolts this way.

Good old medium strength blue loctite for me. Never had any problems.

I like blue also.

Loctite 242 blue, Permatex medium blue is similar but not as good IMO...
