busted up my hood on a huge roll and cracked my hull too... over-rotated and landed flat on my side... I couldn't breathe for about 30 sec... knocked the wind out of me hardcore... waves were in the chest range... w/ lots of push to them... wind was all over it though.. North swell + South winds = ****. When we got there it was a North swell, by the time we left it was so mixed up from the winds it was almost unridable

Ouch. That would suck being in the waves and not being able to breathe. Any pics of the destruction? Sucks that it happend to such a purdy ski.

there's no damage to the paint... the hood just came apart where it's glued together...

Nick,ouch bud that sounds rough,What kinda hood is it? We had a good ride,it was nasty on the outside,but it was pretty nice as it got later right next to the jettie,it brought a little more organization to the swell. We got alot of good footage of everyone on film when we were riding right next to the jettie,right up to dusk,id have it posted up but my firewire cable wont connect to this laptop,wrong connector,:17: I cant beleive i knocked that mortar rocket over and almost blew up right next to the truck:scared: I think the good eatin after the semi ok surf,made up for the 45 min drive out there,lol

Got to ride the 24/7 convertion butti brought out,I was lovin that thing,Im really tempted to get one for the SJ. Coming from a blaster background that thing rocked? little tricky to load up in deep water? but sweet!
Hope this weekends swell cleans up.

butti,If ya have time this weekend id love to check out that area you were talking about with the type houses im looking for.

Im at the point where id just about prefer some clean 3 fters so i can take the sj out and not get killed. And as stated above theres always the after party,lol. Im gettin all out of a warm fl winter i possibly can,ya gotta love it here.:woot:

Idok,ya I was talking with the guys about getting that full carbon conver from that guy ,it was really fun riding it,I would dig it even more if i was able to switch back and forth easy and fast with the pole.

Yea,I will be busy here on weekends till about 12:30 minimum,then about a 45 min drive,So I could possibly make it by 1:15,but 2 pm is the latest. Im assuming that will be the better part of the day as the wind dies down.

Much better ride conditions sunday,Butti,I got some kick ass helmet cam of some killer top turns and reintres of ya,Im workin on the edit now I finally found a 1394 firewaire cable that fits my laptop,Some nice nac nacs of ewok and big airs.Wish I would of had the cam out earlyer that day when everyone was out.
Idok,you ridin again this sunday? Might get the cam back out there.
Ewok,I was just too worn down to make that drive and ride again today. Did you guys make it out? Im in for a midweek ride if ya still got it in ya.

Next time were pickin the eats,man you guys had us both sittin on the pot devastaded,later that night,any of you guys get sick? I still cant get over the raw side we got with that waitress switch up they duped us on,lol
