I am entering the 300sx so no more pics of the actual boat till the buildoff.I know its not everyones cup of tea but it is radically different and I have countless hours in this project.I figure at least a couple of kawis should be represented and 95% of this build has taken place this year.

You should at least give them the build sheet if not pictures, then its left up to their imagination as what to expect. I'm sure it will look cool, but it also needs to perform to be a real contender, that will be your biggest challenge.

This is the kawi 91 reed motor I am running,it has a lot more bottom end grunt than the pjs engine . I also have a complete pjs motor I can throw in it makes about 70 hp stock and turns about 10,000 rpms.I used pistons for a pjs engine in the kawi engine and matched the ports up.The kdx cages are smaller than the 750 cages.The pjs engine does use the 750 reed cages.I am also going to be running the westcoast dual total loss on the Kawi. engine.

10,000 RPMs. it means its either really fast or it cavitates a lot.

either way, there is absolutely NO bottom end to be had on that boat, guaranteed. people with old kawis seem to be concerned with top speed. as soon as they see the light and get an SJ, the need for speed drops and it all becomes about DA BOTTOM!

i s'pose a 300sx would be good for laughs..... theres nothing like your $20,000 custom A/M freestyle SJ getting mocked by a dorky 300sx with shiny parts.

Thanks SFL we can always count on you to come and and poop all over anything that dosen't say super jet on the side of it,I knew it was coming I just wasn't sure when,thank God the wait is over ,now I can get some sleep tonight.You know whether it goes in vintage custom or budget build this ski still fits the description and is not nor was it ever intended to be in competition with the $20,000 am freestyle boats.

No thats another deal altogether and its just what it looks like a playtoy.Thats what the 300 engine that was in this ski is going into.
