Broken brass fuel spigots...

So my fuel spigots cracked and big fuel/air leak formed yesterday....

Where do I get replacements? Runnin OEM mikuni 44s.


Ive looked through all the parts Fiches and they are included in the carb itself and not listed individually.

nothin? surely lots of people have busted these things or have built carbs from the ground up....

It may have happened before, but I have never see it and it seems pretty unlikely. Do you not have a spare carb laying around you can jack replacements from?

For some reason i have no spare mikunis. Only tons of keihins layin around....

A) the plastic caps bust when pulling hte fittings...

B) the fittings are a smaller interference fit.....

Ive got qot a friend with a motorcycle and thats the only thing keeping him from riding it.

I thought about making one from brass tubing ( flare it for the hose barb) and epoxy it in place?

If I don't jetmaniac may have some junk carbs, not sure if its worth his effort to pull em or what he would charge. just an fyi

yea i need to get some gaskets from him... straight will work. Prefer a 90 but whatever. Its no show boat.

I am confused, they are plastic? The only ones I have seen are the OEM straight brass nipples and the 90* aftermarket Mikuni nipples.

You could check with some custom carb builders, I bet they would have plenty?

Mikuni are brass. The keihen ones i tried pulling are plastic.

dont bother... they are junk.


Though they do have better castings.

If you just need the brass right angle nipple, they're Mikuni part number DF44-2/70 at $4.92 each.

If you need the aluminum front pulse plate use part number 53-3330 and drill it for the brass nipple.

I've stolen them off the square Mikuni Remote Fuel pumps before, they are a press fit too.

Nevermind. He sold me the ones that are the block joint. All is good. Also picked up 125 jets for pilot and main.
