So i was installing my Keepers today and broke one of the rear motor mount bolts in the hull :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: . I tried drilled it and tried a bolt extractor with no luck. I then kept drilling the hole bigger and bigger now I think I can tap it with a new bolt.
Does anyone have any other ideas if it doesnt work?

Get a mig and weld a head on that sucker. It may break off, but the more you do it, and the more heat you get into it, the easier it will be.

I've done quite a few using this method, and although the welded piece breaks off quite a bit, they have eventually come out.

don't laugh - I'm serious.

I put in four new (used) motor mounts on Saturday and blue-loctited those suckers in.

oops. I hope I don't need to change them anytime soon.

Don't use a helicoil, use a stainless steel "time-sert". They are very similar to heli-coils and are very very very strong.
Of course lowes doesnt have them. I picked some other ones up but where can I order stainless ones?
