Boring nozzle???

I think I paid 50 or so. I can tell the difference but I had to go back to stock cone. I may put my shorty on again but I think it was to much.

If you have access to a large machinist's lathe, you just chuck it up and open it up to 85mm or whatever you're wanting.

Otherwise, send it to a shop like Magoo's.

It's centered enough to cut on a lathe? How would you mount it, the bolts?

I did mine in a mill with a boring bar. Centered it with an indicator. I would think its a PITA if you tried it on a lathe.

The better way to increase the nozzle size is in a lathe as you need to taper bore the exit...My mounting/holding fixture is at Pat Bogarts shop at X-metalworks.com

Pat can knock it out fairly quick for you if need be...

I am planning on running stock cone. What size should I have it bored/tapered to 85mm?

I just used a 4 jaw chuck on a lathe and expanded it to hold by that 3/16 inch lip on the inside. I checked it to make sure it was centered and cut it to 85.7mm on mine. well that is what it measured after I made 2 huge cuts in it. I have done 5 or 6 of them after that one and it takes about 20 minutes I just get them rather close I don't make it exact.

And I am running a wet wolf cone 85.7mm protec nozzle and a concord 13/17 race preped with a 4mm cut back. No problems on a limited ski

Same here, 4 jaw on inside and i took my time, probably 30 minutes but I was also running inside pretty far to smooth out the stock siphon fitting.
