For the guys that have this conversion, how much throw are you getting with the FX1 steering cable.

ytou can change out to a RN cable if you change the top part of the pole as well....that will give you another 1" or so if you have the steering mod done as i sure you do..

Anyone modify Bonzai Bobs Pro-Tec nozzle? I am running the steering cable ball mount about half-inch closer to the steering nozzle. I am only looking to get insight from all of you and see what worked, didn't work.

Only mod I had to do was to re-drill the mounting bolt holes to accept the factory FX1 bushings. I used the second hole out on the Protec for the steering cable and used the little cable extender that came in the Protec kit. Steering throw seems the same to me (feel riding the ski) but I did not do formal measure before and after. Happy to post any pictures of my set up if helpful.
Worked well, that's pretty much what we did. Had to do a bit of grinding to get full throw with that mod.
