I got a new big bore motor, went for a ride the other day. Im running dual cooling and I had put some 4mm restrictors in both bypass fittings (50 degree water) and the outlet temp felt pretty good. Well, I rode about 20 minutes and when I was in the inlet I noticed the bypass fittings spitting exhaust/water. I was able to get it back at low rpm while always monitoring the bypass temp. Well, I pulled the head today and both o-rings were blown. I was nervous about the crank maybe sitting in whatever salt water that may have found its way down by the crank, that I started cranking it and spraying fogging oil in it. I forgot the cylinders werent bolted down and I heard a scrape noise and noticed that the cylinder had broke its seal on the base. Now I don't know what the hell to do, should I tear it down and inspect/replace the base gasket? I never wanted to pull apart any damn engines and exactly why I paid so much money. Thoughts?
