I think im going to buy this blaster thats been sitting at a shop forever, it has no motor nor electricals.. so my question is what motor should i bolt in there?
Should i stick with a 701 or 760 or is there a better option? I dont want to spend crazy money on it since iv done all the spending on my SJ. Im not looking for top speed, i would just like to have a wave jumping monster...
So what do u guys recommend?

Thanx in advance

701. plenty of power available (especially low end) and a little cheaper. You can read lots of threads about which 701.

I put a 760 in mine... well, 62t cases 61x cylinder resleeved to 760. ADA head and factory pipe... works very nice. Noticable power increase over the stock 61x - when I actually ride it...

Ok so forget about trying to fit an 800 motor or summin like that and just stick to a 701/760 and mod it like im modding a SJ for freestyle?
Whats the best prop for it?
Does it have the same pump as a SJ?

Thanx

701, spend the extra cash reinforcing the transom. Inspect the transom area meticulously, and around the bond line. Spend lots of time examining that area so you know what you are getting into.

The transom is the weak spot of the blaster.

It won't take as much power as you think... I mean, it's only like 40 lbs heavier than a SJ and it's like 30 lbs lighter than an SXR... all-in-all, it's a pretty light ski... 701/760 = plenty of power.

I will do that but im not really worried bout it cuz this blaster is a 96 and was prolly just used for a year or so then dumped... It wasnt so popular here.. plus we dont have the huge surf here that would cauze great damage on the transom..
Thanx anyways!

Solas Concorde 13/17 with a 3mm cutback. It'll make a MONSTER difference over the stocker prop!
