Ok, I passed up the opportunity to buy one of those blaster gas shock lift thingys mostly because I cannot paint my ski right now, so I do not need the trick factor. There was a clean blaster on ebay, and it had an awesome setup but I do not have any expereince on this and wanted to get some feedback.

Any thoughts on the subject?

that was one hot products use to carry, it is no longer available as far as i know. it worked great i had one on a limited a while back.. the single gas shock one works just as well. all my boats have one shock system now.

you can basically biuld that one in your pics. it is just u shaped bracket and gas shocks you can buy at most auto parts stores.

pro-tec still sells the single shock one (or they did last year when I bought one from them)... although, it might be cheaper to build your own.

you can mount the shock where ever you want, the closer to the front of the hull the higher the hood will go. the one in the picture is pretty much straight up.
