Blaster Bumper Damage

Location

last summer we had a lot of rain and were able to go adventuring in some creeks that are connected to the lake we ride on. after getting too confident I came flying around a corner and smoked a small tree with the front bumper. Now its time to fix this screw up. I work at a boat factory so I have plenty of resources to help me with the fiberglass repair, but I'm not sure how to handle the fact that the bond line is broken. do I have to try to split the cap and hull or is my best bet to glass is all together from the inside? i have also considered using something like the 701 industries bolt on rocker kit to reinforce the bumper. any suggestions?

Grind out all the cracking so you can see how far and deep they go. Reinforce one side, fill the gap with thickened epoxy and reinforce the other side. I have the 701 rocker and the way it works would not add any reinforcement. Maybe it would help as a bumper though? :p
