Blaster Barrel Roll Video

Along with Ross' crazy double barrel roll attempts, we got some footage of a couple of my rolls on the blaster.

I was doing them a liiiittle bigger last weekend. Ross keeps telling me, go bigger! But I've been over rotating them when I do. After seeing this video, I understand why. I was concerned about under-rotating. I figured I HAD to pull as hard as I was to even make it. I had no idea I was so low to the water until I saw the video. I can go bigger and pull half as hard, and I figure I'll still make them around.

I'm pretty sure a roll could be done on a large boat wake (like they say they have out at lanier). :headbang: :headbang:

I also did my first one handed roll this weekend. I figure a few more weeks to learn to go a little bigger with them, and hopefully I'll figure out how to do a no handed roll in the next month.

You rotate that thing so friggin fast...it is unreal. And the one hander was sick! I'm sure those will be on video soon!

I love on the second one how you head almost hits the back of the wave as you are rotating, and you still make it.

And for the record, I don't think I saw one failed attempt from 79 on Sunday!

its crazy when you see jerry coming at a wave and you think he's going to pull the usual nothing or superman, and he flys off the wave rolling. i always give him a waving fist as congradulations

Isn't part of the deal with the double BR contest is that we get to see some of the failed attempts??
