Black WDK Envy

Well I totally understand why you guys with A/M hulls get so excited about them! I bought this hull from Tom (superramjet) and finished the build he started, not with a 1200 motor, but I used all of my Kawy parts from my 750 pro. I had to do a lot of changing mounts and brackets since he was going to use Yamaha parts, but it fit pretty well when I got done. All I got to say is everybody needs one of these hulls you won't beleive the differents in performance and handling even without a high hp motor. I put in my 849 bigbore motor with ported cyl. bored carbs aluminum charging flywheel 750 dry pipe with a 750 waterbox mounted in the back with the motor set back 2" and running pump gas with a 5gal tank so I can still go on a ride. I have also lighten as many parts that I could it's amazing what a 1/2 pound or more adds up when you are done. All I can say is save up some coin for a light weight hull and you won't be dissappointed even without the big hp.

Looks great and I imagine it is fun as heck to ride...

Does it hit hard off the bottom with a race motor set up?

It has good pop at low and mid it was ported for that, I used a wet pipe for a season and went back to the dry pipe because it gave me more power all over.

That turned out great!!!

I hated to see that ski go , but glad it went to a good home, and finally got some love.

enjoy your new ski !

I got to ride this thing Sunday, It is crazy nimble. And pops out of the water so easy. I think you could see a BIG GRIN :veryhappy:eek:n his face from all the way across the lake. Ski looks awsome!!

What engine combination are you running in your ski and did you have any clearance problems with the front hood mounts hitting your handlepole?

Yamaha B piped 701 with high compression and a killer prop....it rips!

Yes you have to run a nice 3" tall pad on the hood....like most aftermarket hull really.

I used 2 25mm pads with turf on top. Can't really see it but here is a pic (post 325 of my build thread).

Ski looks very very nice, good choice in colors. Its good to see another envy out there. It just kept sitting there in superramjets shop, I was hopeing that he would build it this winter, but, things change. I have put mine through hell and back in the past two years with the big 1200 motor in there. Ive attempted probably over 1000 rolls, 50 double V-wake backies, and just now started landing flat water backies. The ski is almost as perfect as the day I got it. Your gonna have a ball!!!

Flip ya later,

You can buy carbon fiber and kevlar all over the web and there is several stores on ebay that sell it, Talk to superramjet where he got his at he might have a better source.
