Very cool B. I have done a bunch of stuff for the show from time to time. I wish the boys traveled west more. I will check out Lil Jimmy next time he is in Houston for sure! Did you see him on HBO?

Thanks for the ideas about the Bilge, I will get it finished tonight or in the morning an take it out for a test ride.

I have an "eye" problem and just cant see going to work tomorrow.

The HBO special was the first time Ive seen him, that was some funny stuff. I really liked his stuff I didnt realize that was him till you said his name.

Anyway, put the damn bilge in it allready!!! Oh and if anyone wants Ill be at Gtown this weekend again, probably just on sunday this weekend. You should bring that new boat up here and ride.

OK, so far I have wired and mounted my bilge pump. I ran the wiring from the switch into the factory wiring sealed box on the back side of the primer and fuel switch using the factory grommets. I installed a 20 amp fuse in-line, saudered(sp?) the connections and hooked ground to the factory ground location inside the same box. everything works fine but my big question is...

where do I drill the hole in the side of the ski for the water to get out? I will be installing a factory pipe and want to make sure I dont drill it in a spot that I will regret shortly. anyone have a pic or two?

Thanks for helping the new guy!

You might want to re think that 20 amp fuse. You figure the max current draw is probably 3 amp under full load, so a 10 amp is plenty. If you over fuse then a short could cause some very hot melted wires. I have seen a partially shorted bilge pump smoke and melt but not blow a fuse. Just a suggestion and my .02

Also I fuse and run the hot straight to the pump and switch the ground wire. This keeps from having a exposed hot wire lug on a dash switch. This will avoid an accidental short from a wrench and the lug will not corrode. If it is a handle pole mounted switch then you will avoid risk of a hot wire running all the way up to the bars, less risk of shorts causing blown fuses.

Oh yeah, I remember that thread now. Todd W made a good point, you could probably get by with running a 3 or 5 amp fuse on a single pump. As long as the start inrush current does not pop it. If I was going to run a 3 or 5 amp, I would run a slow blow type fuse to avoid these type of failures.

The POW did a good number on Tyra, you have anything to do with that ?

Got the HBO special, have the old one as well and Jimmys book. The wife is in love with him and tapes every appearance. Remember when he had a crush on Kate Beckinsale ?

So is anyone else on here O and A fan? Todays show was really funny.

I wouldnt mind making the drive up on Sunday, is there a place my wife and daughter can hang out on the water?

I figured out how to SUB today, and its alot of fun. Glad I got the bilge finished. The boat can take on alot of water after a couple of them. i broke down and used the wetsuit today because of the cold front. OK, im a wimp...

Yeah Premix1 had his wife with him last weekend, if I remember the actual drive through picnic area is closed to vehicles driving through, but his wife(and others) just make the short hike from the boat ramp. I would say the can hang out with my mom and kids but my parents just told me they are closing their camp ground this next week for the hunters. But its a pretty nice area to hang out on the shore and enjoy the day.

Im not sure how many skis we can get this weekend.I know Ill have my buddy out with me so there will be at least two of us. Last weekend I started to work harder on my rolls. Usually it just ends up with me eating the lake, but still fun. Hope to get further around this weekend.

im game to learn, I have only been on a ski 5 or 6 times total. Im sure you can teach me more than I already know. What time on Sunday? I need to be back in SA by 4, my wife has to work. Look forward to meeting you Sunday!

Well you pick whats best for you,I can ride anytime. Im not very good at all,,but am trying hard. My buddy is ridding my bosses square and he has only riden about 8 times too. He cant sub yet but he is attempting small nose stabs, most of the time it looks like hes seeing how far he can shove his body in between the handpole and ski its great to watch.

My cell is 512-630-1650 real name is shawn incase ya need to call for anything. Ill post a thread about riding here and update on pwc that were going out. Hopefully we can get some more out.

sweet, look forward to it. I can be at your place around 10:30??? feel free to try out my new boat as well... it doesnt have any scratches yet, dont make the first one or your gonna have to talk to my wife.....LOL

HAHA thanks for the warning.I wouldnt mind feeling the way the hull handles under normal riding, and if ya feel like it ya can ride mine and do something stupid, my boat is a whore she gets ridden by more people then a cheap hooker.

Actually you might want to ride mine, boat that is. Its just got a few mods that most do first so you can feel the differance and justify the money youll be spending if you want to upgrade stuff down the road.

10:30 sounds great.
