Lowes is selling the GB Extreme electrical connectors now. If you look inside the package at the connectors you will see that they are just repackaging the Perma-seal stuff. These are the tin plated crimp style connectors with the built in heat shrink jacket with a heat activated adhesive. They also have the Extreme primary wire that is tin coated. If you use this stuff you can pretty much eliminate alot of electrical problems especially if you ride salt water. I am using the perma-seal stuff for all of my exposed connections on my round nose buildup project.

I don't need to take a picture of mine now. But your 2nd photo doesn't work for me.

fair warning, I was popping a 5 amp fuse for 2 500 gph atwoods, I went to a 10 amp and no more problems.

I think the start up current under load is greater than the typical fast blow auto balde fuse is made for.

Yup, I would use a single waterproof fuse holder like this one I found at Boaters World http://www.boatersworld.com/product...cielectrical-plumbing;cipanels-wiring;cifuses with perma-seal connectors and run at least a 7.5 or 10 amp fuse. It would simplify the wiring and keep everything dry for years of service.

sweet!! Thanks guys! Do you let these run constantly? I only ride in fresh water, so switch should hopefully last pretty decent. IS there enough room to install with the motor in there? I might just try one pump at first..

When I had a handle bar mounted switch I would just hit it just after a sub or getting rolled in a wave. Right now I just let it run cause there is no switch. I think you will get more life out of the pumps if you shut them off. Just turn them off when crusing, turn on when you start to get crazy.:Banane01:

Does any tubing come with the pumps?

where do you guys mount your switch?? looks like where I wanted to mount it like by the choke, I'd have to drill through plastic and fiber glass, I dunno if it would fit though both?

ok, Last question how hard is it to do the pole mount?? Which switch is best for the pole mount? I bought a toggle, but now I'm thinking it would be a pita to mount it..... Where have you guys mounted the toggle if you use it over the pole mount?
