Bigfoot 2 wheel tote rails too far apart

Hey all...

I bought a 2 wheel Bigfoot tote recently and when I got it home I realized that the two rails are about 19" apart. My Superjet barely fits on this thing because they're so wide.

Are they all that wide like that?

I guess they have multiple versions of this tote and I have the wide one. Bummer. Will have to figure out how to make this work better for my standup and sit downs at the same time...

Bigfoot was designed for runabout. The Tiger was designed for standups. You can get some new tubes and get them welded on to make the rails narrower

I was looking on their web site and under the description for the Bigfoot two wheel tote it says this "Adjustable support rails to accommodate Stand-up PWC $40.00". Has anyone ever seen these before? Seems worth while to investigate for $40...

Yeah I wonder if the rails are the difference or if the tubes the rails go in are different between the two versions. I suppose I'll give them a call this week and find out.

I talked to them (Florida sail craft) about the adjustable $40 kit it is just the 2.25" channel. They send u two new pieces so you weld em next to the existing ones. I just cut mine off and re welded em

I'm getting an aqua cart at the end of the month. It will fit a standup and a big couch right off the bat. It automatically adjusts itself when you put the ski on it. Pretty simple design actually. Check them out.

That's exactly what we do. And it makes it interchangeable between both. They are local and he's a good dude!

I just got some flat aluminum stock from Home Depot and had a buddy tig weld it on. Then when I get couches to part I can move the bunks back out. But for the most part it stays Superjet width.

The easiest fix is to remove the 2 bolts that hold rails in, remove them, and mount them to the inside of the upright pieces. Just drill and bolt them in place, problem solved.

Ok, I think I'll have two sections added just to the inside of the original ones like in the picture that BruceSki posted. Then I can switch back and forth.

I noticed that they're currently bolted in. I'm wondering if it would be ok to just use a pin and clip like the rest of the tote does or it that would be problematic later on. It would be nice to be able to just switch the bunks on a moments notice without having to go find a wrench.

Guy we ride with doesnt bolt them in just slid into the tubes and no issues. You only have to bolt them in so they dont fall out doesnt hold weight or anything so pins and clips are fine

Smoking deal. We borrowed ours from a friend. He got out of ski's............ He asked for it back...... We asked for our portable electric wench that he borrowed to pull his trailer up and out of his pond.............. Guess he still has the wench. We still have the tote.
