I think if you are just replacing grips those bike shops might be all right, but for a first time setup, blowsion or lehr's would be best for the hardware! lol:biggrin:

we received the grips yesterday and they have aluminum locking rings for both ends. they have plastic end caps. as far as colors if you want different colors through blowsion they are over 10 dollars for a set. how i look at it is i got the same grips as yamaslut for 10 cheaper. when i decide to get the color locks i can order them from blowsion for the same price as every one else.

I've seen some screws that come with ODIs and they are nickel/chrome plated (much shinier than stainless). If it's a decent quality finish that doesn't chip, I would expect it to be as good as or better than stainless wrt corrosion as the problem with stainless is the galvanic corrosion when in contact with aluminum (so don't forget to use grease on whichever screws you have).

Nothing is better than stainless .anything plated is gonna rust one way or another .
if you ride in saltwater all the time like me than there is no other alternative .

like SFL said bike grips come with cheap plated screws for the end caps .
if they rust and won't loosen up than a sawzall is what you need to remove them :frown: AND THEY LOOK LIKE SHIAT

you saved $10 which is .001% of what I spent on aftermarket parts for my ski.

You should support companies who develop and innovate new products for the pwc industry .

I'm all about saving money on my ski but I would just order from Blowsion or Paul Lehr on this one just for the fact that if somethin goes wrong or breaks or is missing in shipment it will be taken care of without question .

OF COURSE IF YOU ONLY HAVE $17 INSTEAD OF $20 THAN YOU HAVE TO BUY THEM FROM A NO NAME ONLINE COMPANY

Oh and by the way, no one finds it more ironic than me that the billet plugs come with plated screws. :banghead:
