I have run Amsoil at 40:1 for years with zero issues, lately I run a cheaper oil at 50:1 without any problems either. :dunno: to each their own.

I usually mix all my fuel to match the most finicky engine setup I am currently running so no fueling mistakes can be made. My seadoo was real touchy so I ran a better oil and more of it for extra insurance. My SJ's seem to be doing fine on 50:1.

Stock mix on a stock motor, with recommended TCW-3 oil is 50:1.
Considering that your motor has higher compression, a pipe, rejetted carbs, a likely higher rev limit, I would run 40:1.

On engines built by pro-shops, follow the builder's advice for oil and oil ratio.
Example: I had a big bore engine built by Jetworks. Art (builder) recommended I run Amsoil Dominator at 50:1, so that's what I run.

With your set up, 40/1 with cheap oil is fine
