after many hours of discuss with friends ,riders i decide to add this thread about freeestyle and racing which is the best setup for each one
according 61x(701) and 62t(701,760) with oem stroke
others say that the best setup is 61x 701cc with a good freestyle porting better than 760cc with porting
others say that the best freestyle setup is 771cc with freestyle porting
intake v bottom cylinder helps ?
intake u bottom cylinder is better?
61x 701cc with freestyle porting with y or u bottom cylinder will be the best ?

so which is the best mod for freestyle
and which for racing

thanks all !!!
all opinions counts

Argumentative topic indeed. No one can answer what the ideal setup is.....or we'd all have the same boats! It boils down to what works best for you based off of how you ride.

As far as the intake shape on the cylinder skirt....I don't believe you will get much more than unqualified opinions on here. My suggestion would be to call or contact some of the reputable builders to discuss your questions. I doubt any of them would publicly answer your question. Or you may have to shell out and pay for work from them to find out the answers. Just my .02

where is the secret ??

if 61x ported cylinders 81mm is best for freestyle instead of 62t 84mm ported cylinders ???

lol

That is a completely different question than which design cutout is better on the cylinder skirt.

This question has been addressed many times and still comes down to personal opinion. Some are more happy with the 62T cylinder and others with the 61X. It has also been said, repeatedly, that the port timing on the 61X is more conducive to the low end grunt needed for freestyle set ups, whereas the timing on the 62T cylinder is more towards mid-high end.

i will try to start it...

some time ago i have ride a superjet 650 with riva dry pipe the red one all the other was stock

and was faster than a superjet 700 with the dual 38''carbs with the same pipe

and i had get mad because i was didn't believe that :

650cc with a single 44 and the red pipe
was faster than 700c with the dual 38's with the same pipe

plate ,impeller, scoop was the same for both

Well then clearly something is wrong if they are EXACT. You are water logged or not properly tuned. Resistive mid or pump bearings?

The 701 clearly wasn't tuned/set up right.

Tuning has a BUNCH to do with it. You can ride someone's skis that seems to be tuned very well but after someone else gets done tuning it the thing is night and day difference. Same boat.

I thought that my ski was tuned perfect. Plugs were perfect throttle response we spot on. But sold the ski and later got a chance to ride it. and WOW what a difference it was. I was happy with it but the tuning make it feel like a new port job.
