300/440/550 Best carbs for a Freeride SJ?

For Those About To Rock
Stock 38s work very well or you could go with 44s.

One thing you want to remember bigger is not always better at least when you are talking carbs, especially on a freestyle ski.

With the smaller carbs you get higher air velocity thru the carbs, (at lower rpms) i.e. better signal strenth to the carbs - thats what you want with a freestyle ski, good carburation (throttle response) down low.

A single 46 or 48 would also work good with this motor. You may be giving up a little on the top end but again super response down low not to mention ease of tuneability and water injestion control.

It's hard to beat the stock 38's with just a B pipe. Next step up is dual 44's or a good (read: full spectrum, novi, tlr, powerbomb, etc) big single, then on to duals of those.
