best and cheapest way to ship a couple stand-up hulls?

I've never shipped any hulls or ski's before, but I might have to ship a couple hulls from Havasu to Iowa.

What have you all used before for shipping and what would be the best way to ship 2 standup hulls with hoods?

You may try U-ship.com I havenever used them though. From what I understand, you list information on your items that need shipping like you would on e-Bay and truckers bid for you business (driving the price down).

U ship is great if someone is actually driving where you are going.

I've put a couple listings on U ship in the past with no replies, and I suspect it was because the items were being shipped to remote locations like the middle of Michigan and other areas.

But the one successful listing I dealt with was when both myself and my buyer were off major/highly traveled routes. We were both close to Highway 10 (CA for me, TX for him).
