I'd stay far away from Odyssey. I've broken 3 and had some warranty troubles.
Jetworks has been flawless for me.

I've had my Deka ETX16L for 2 full years now. I've run total loss since day one so that poor battery gets drained and charged every weekend. My typical riding season is late Feb/early Mar to late Oct/early Dec. I bought mine on special for $70 shipped at the time but you can still get them for under $90-$100.

usually what kills batteries is sitting and not getting used. When we would ride 10 months a year, our batteries lasted, when we started cutting back to more like 6 months, they started not lasting.

You can get a jetworks equivalent battery (18AHr SLA) from Power-Sonic for under $45, or a Power-Sonic sealed PWC battery too for whichever model you're riding. Look em up, www.power-sonic.com

that is only equivalent in terms of amp hours and type.
the cases for the jetworks batteries are much thicker and heavier duty
than the other "equivalent" batteries I have seen
you get what you pay for

Might be surprised by these batteries. Heck, you might even say they are brother and sister.

The Good Old Days
Last friday I needed to move a car that has been sitting for over a year.
Grabbed a jumper box and some starting fluid thinking that I will have a tough time with it. So, I hooked up the battery (disconnected the negative when I parked the car) and she turned right over and fired up without the jump-box. Over a year of sitting outside and the battery cranked like crazy.

Deka in the car and all my skis.

Thanks for ur input everyone. Just now need to decide what one to get. And yes if I'm not ridding the batteries are on a trickle charger disconnected...
