Battery Cable Guage

I am about to order some supplies to make up battery cables for my TL. I am planning on taking positive and negitive from the battery right to the mounting plate at the rear. Positive on one post of the solenoid, the negitive to a stud, then onto the starter/block with two additional cables

What is the guage of the OEM stuff? I would rather use 6 guage rather that 4. What do you think would be best?

Thanks

I am running 6AWG on mine with no issues yet and I run digital multichannel t/l, I also set my neighbors up w/6AWG and she is running 4270 analog t/l with no issues yet.

I just figured it will be more flexible and of course smaller. I will be using welding cable with soldered tinned lugs, adheasive double walled shrink tubbing.

The 6 guage OD is .320
The 4 guage OD is .375

I always hear about this site but never have browsed around, they have some really good prices. I was going to have to buy 25ft from the other place, but genuinedealz sells by the foot, and its tinned battery cable.

Thanks for the link

Notice they also have the adhesive lined heat shrink. Me and Crammit buy all our stuff there. Great product, great price, great service, fast shipping.

Free Shipping, that is Killer. Yeah I saw the heatshrink, I already have a list going. Do you ahve any idea how their battery cable boots fit over a SeaPoo solenoid?

The only thing they dont have is a fuse holder like this one:
