Courtney Moffet strikes again

You know the saying you can spray paint a turd but it's still a piece of poop. Well our friend Courtney Moffatt is back (from the dead- according to one of the post from Doogiesux (who again is Courtney, Thomas, Saskjet or whatever the F* name he hides behind)) He was the winning bidder of my SJ hull on eBay item # 200182806365 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=200182806365
It clearly states paypal or cash payment only and within 24 hrs of end of auction. It takes a few emails after the auction before he replies. He says I’ll send a money order so I start wondering what BS this is from Canada. I inquire with eBay and they tell me the winning bidder badcharger1 is a:

Courtney Moffatt 14 67 Angus Rd Regina, SK s4r 311 CANADA (306) 545 5500

Talk about a literal “dead” beat bidder. So beware of Courtney’s new spray painted name on eBay BADCHARGER1 but he’s still the shady POS. How do we know this prick isn’t a new guy on x-h2o? I have his IP address can we track and compare?

The problem with only using an IP for determining who someone is, is that many ISPs have dynamic addressing. There could always be a second user in Canada living near him on the same provider as him.
Not a very good chance, but still a chance.

if there was - the IP history here would reflect that.

yes, courtney is a steaming pile of dog chit.

but requiring payment w/in 24 hours after auctions end is a bit extreme. some people might not be on their computer every day. i usually give 3 days to a week.

I state the payment terms up front...if a bidder has a concern they should discuss prior to bidding or close of auction. Another point is if you are bidding at the closing seconds what is the excuse for not paying right then...it's not like he needs to wait for me to calculate shipping for him. If you bid on an item that closes 5 days later I see your point...however you aren't defending Mr Moffatt are you :nono:

being that SFL was one of the many that got screwed by "Mr" Moffatt - I highly doubt he is defending him.

Have you sent either Darrin or me the IP address so we can see if he has any other user ID's here?
