Back Flushing

I have a superjet rn with bpipe and ada head and a stock fx-1, i ride saltwater and was wondering if they can both be back flushed through the pisser outlet.

Also do you turn the hose on full blast when back flushing.

Depends on how you have your water lines routed. Personally I don't run the hose full blast.

fx-1 is stock with stock cooling

The superjet only has one pisser, it has cooling line from pump to exhaust mani, then line from head to mani

The ski with the stock exhaust you probably wont be able to backflush.
The one with a FP you can BF either thru the pisser comming from the waterline leading from the top of the headpipe or to the waterline leading from the top/front of the head.

forgive my stupidty here but what is the need for backflushing as opposed to regular set up flush kits.....?????

to make sure there is no sand in the pickup line from the pump or something???

i know people clog their cooling lines with sand sometimes

one reason is if you ever removed a head on a 701 you will notice sand will almost always be in the water jacket. Backflushing will remove alot of it.

cool...thanks.....i didnt realize it was a problem maybe ill just blast mine with the water balloon filler thing on the hose nozzle through the pisser hose once in a while...

I had dual cooling and 3 pissers on my old SJ with a Dry pipe. I would just pull the line off of the pisser from inside and put the hose from the car wash in the hose and let er flow. I never really used a flush kit I just ran to the car wash on the way home.

The first time I backflushed my 701, there was a pile of sand/mud in the driveway. I pulled the head about 3 months later after backflushing after every ride and there was NO sand in the water jacket.

tripple pisser flush baby...

and i would think the FX-1 wouldn't be any different than a superjet. the motors are the same, just a different hull.

although i just caught the "stock FX-1" part... you might wanna invest in an inline flush kit that that ski.
