hmmmmmmmmmm, I am gonna say B7HS, once you put a pipe and MSD Enhancer, you will change to a BR8ES (adding a resistor and the extened shaft (threads)).

I run non-resistor plugs with my MSD TL....it doesn't give me any problems, but perhaps I'll start running R's this year.

Dragging up an oldie but couldn't find my answer in searches.

Have a friend's 02 SJ in my garage for the weekend and was about to change plugs. Sticker says BR7HS and that's what he has always run. So was about to pop the new ones in when I thought I'd check on here for gapping. I use BR8ES on my sxr so wasn't sure. Then I saw the threads about 7's and 8's etc.

I understand the length and heat codes just not sure if I should go with a cooler plug on his ski with his mods;

Wet pipe, tau ceti's, super pump cone.

Is this enough to warrant switching to the BR8HS? We ride lake Austin and our rides mostly consist of subs, freeriding and wot mini races.

Thanks.

I was under the impression that the only time you needed to run resistor plugs was when you were using water injection so it didn't interfere with the induction pickup for the module.
