Sorry, but I don't think it really takes a rocket scientist to figure out a carbon mod or lim chamber won't save weight.

Compared to the blaster mod pipe I have its a 5lb+ weight savings. Unfortunatly I dont have an aluminum chamber around here to compare to.

I have a 2lb baking scale here, so here's some independent verification.
Manifold: 1466 grams = 3.24lbs
Mod chamber: 1710 grams = 3.78lbs
Headpipe: 6.5lbs (measured with bigger scale)

All together that's 13.52lbs

I eat my laughs.

I used a Waymaster Kitchen Scale, it's fairly accurate.

My head pipe and manifold have been ported to 49.5mm, maybe that would may some difference.

3-4lbs difference?? My manifold, head pipe and carbon chamber are pushing 10lbs.

zactly :cool2: not that I really care BUT between my pipe, carb setup and TL flywheel I shaved 10-11+ pounds just off my engine assembly.

Let's see some concrete numbers on how you arrived at 10-11 lbs. I am curious.

Let's see some concrete numbers on how you arrived at 10-11 lbs. I am curious.

Like I said my postal scale goes out to tenths of an ounce BUT only goes up to 5 lbs

chamber:1lb 10oz
manifold:3lb 2oz
head pipe: ??? (considerably over 5lbs)

Ooops sorry I thought you where refering to the weight of the pipe....concrete numbers on the total setup I have no idea but...I know the flywheel is right around 3lbs lighter, the single Powerbomb and blowsion F/A is considerably lighter than the dual 38s and the pipe setup...well you have seen that. I plan on getting actual numbers shortly. Coupled (probably next year) with an Xmetal box, a new hood, and a diet I would expect to see a pretty significant weight loss....again not that I am hung up on numbers I just dont have the coin to afford a big engine and have fun playing with these numbers. As long as I can cut the weight off my body I have no doubt that I can get near 35-40lbs lighter than where I was when I bought it new.

You guys must have some serious oil build-up in your b-pipes.

My exhaust manifold only weighs 1.46lbs and the head pipe weighs 2.78lbs?

Did I purchase the light weight model? :Eyecrazy:

I trust the scale, Chris.
I don't feel like cleaning that thing tonight. That was with a coupler, btw.

:haha: I think you have a junk scale, you are not stuffing these parts in your pocket and jumping on the bathroom scale are you?
My manifold looks like it just came out of the box, the headpipe is in the same condition minus a spray fitting and the chamber is clean inside too.
You want to sell that light weight B pipe? LOL 50% weight reduction is pretty good

I think your chamber is a bit too light, according to my weird scale and chamber. :dunno:
