Other B-pipe repair

My X2 B-pipe is pretty bad off. I got it with stuck screws and damage to one of the holes. I had oversized screws professionally put in but they didn't line up perfect with the original holes, nor address the damaged hole. I had them replaced with Helicoils and still cannot get the pipe to work like new. Can any reccommend someone who can, for a reasonable price, repair my pipe to like new condition with helicoils. I'd like the outter screws and helicoils replaced with new ones including helicoils, reapir of the one damaged inner hole and inspection of the 2 other holes.

I have a Superjet limited chamber and a AM 650 manifold that work good (to RN waterbox, B1 outlet and appropriate tubes). I do not need any repair to them. I have the FPP manifold but It wont fit in my current hull, nor am I going to try. I'm working on a new hull that will accomidate the FPP manifold so it's 650 for now. I just can't tune my pipe in anyway. It's just dumping in water from all the holes. My motor will produce power on the top end and outrun a stock SXR, but the bottom is like I have a poorly tuned 550 with low compression. It's like it has nothing, then explodes in the midrange all the way through the top, which is the exact opposite of what I need. Tuning the carb doesn't fix, it's the water injection in the pipe that is most certainly the problem.

I have already spent $100 having it not repaired. I'm at the point of taking it to the scrap because I'd rather have working stock than broken aftermarket. Can anyone recommend someone who can restore my pipe to completely like new condition?

I would just ditch it and buy a good used one for how much its going to cost you to get it repaired again and most likely wont work how it should because they will have to make the holes bigger. Can find head pipes for around 200 most of the time.

Tap and plug the top and middle inner holes with 4-40 screws. Make sure the bottom hole is no larger than .050". Then bleed off the head pipe pressure with a pisser and it will be perfect. Leave the pipe at its max power setting and tune the pump to match. FPPs top and middle screws are nothing but a band-aide for too much pump load. No more than a straight 15, 13/16 or 8/16.

That's good advice. Maybe I'll try it before I scrap it. The top hole is the one that is damaged. I don't think the bottom is all that bad. I have a 10/18 prop, so I might be over pitched. I didn't think with a B-pipe, 750 motor and 44mm mikuni it'd be too much. I sold my 9/17. I have a 13/18 sxr prop to cut. I think I still have a 15 and a 16.
