My X2 B-pipe is pretty bad off. I got it with stuck screws and damage to one of the holes. I had oversized screws professionally put in but they didn't line up perfect with the original holes, nor address the damaged hole. I had them replaced with Helicoils and still cannot get the pipe to work like new. Can any reccommend someone who can, for a reasonable price, repair my pipe to like new condition with helicoils. I'd like the outter screws and helicoils replaced with new ones including helicoils, reapir of the one damaged inner hole and inspection of the 2 other holes.
I have a Superjet limited chamber and a AM 650 manifold that work good (to RN waterbox, B1 outlet and appropriate tubes). I do not need any repair to them. I have the FPP manifold but It wont fit in my current hull, nor am I going to try. I'm working on a new hull that will accomidate the FPP manifold so it's 650 for now. I just can't tune my pipe in anyway. It's just dumping in water from all the holes. My motor will produce power on the top end and outrun a stock SXR, but the bottom is like I have a poorly tuned 550 with low compression. It's like it has nothing, then explodes in the midrange all the way through the top, which is the exact opposite of what I need. Tuning the carb doesn't fix, it's the water injection in the pipe that is most certainly the problem.
I have already spent $100 having it not repaired. I'm at the point of taking it to the scrap because I'd rather have working stock than broken aftermarket. Can anyone recommend someone who can restore my pipe to completely like new condition?
