Surfriding Awesome Suit !

This Rubberman is going to be warm like on prom night...

The veteran surfer who sold me this suit said " I can surf all day on the coldest day in January with this suit. " It takes over 20 mins of riding to get some water in this suit...the neck and ankles has adjustable seals to control how water tight it is and there is zero wind chill... best thing I ever bought...

if you are a bit cold in winter riding, a semi-dry is the way to go..

I bought a NPX Assasin last year and I agree 100%. They are awesome wetsuits. The NP in NPX is for Neil Pride. At the time the Neil wetsuits said PRIDE across the chest and I didn't want my neighbors to think I was donning my spandex to attend a gay pride parade.

I hear what you are saying on the windchill, that is the only thing that gets me in the "winter" with my 3/2. You going to bust it out this weekend?

Watersports West is a great place to do business too....

You have to promise you'll stop wearing it in April when the water is 75 :pokey:.

GF's B-day weekend not sure but early Sat morning prolly best...

I like a neo hoodie under my helmet to keep warm

Yes, I wear one too either 1mm or 2mm option...

that suit has gotta to be hot

it's not plus you can loosen neck and ankle seals to let more water in if u want...water was 51 this year Jan 2010

What water temp can you go down to and be comfortable. I never worry about getting hot in the winter you can always cool down . I want a suit that is very flexible and warm if not hot . Cold water guys input appreciated.

Ripcurl F-Bomb 4/3. I've used it in water temps in the mid-30's with air in the 20's. Add neoprene socks, hot-hands, and a tour coat, and I was pretty comfortable.

This sounds better than a dry suit.
You can safely pee in this one where it might get a bit odd in a dry suit.

I wouldn't recommend it. The higher quality wetsuits do a very good job of keeping you dry in the core area. It keeps liquid out, and conversely, it also keeps liquid in unless you deliberately flush it.
Don't know about anyone else, but I hate doing that in the winter.

Since you live in the cold .......... I sir , will use you as a reverse barometer and start looking at a 5/4 or greater . Thanks Matt , I forgot what you suggested a while back.

I am a total cold water wuss. I think the 5/4 might well be overkill in your climate.
