Automatic bilge pump switch - yes or no?

turn pump on as it leaves the trailer
turn it back off when it returns to the trailer
done.

On/off trailer way too simple. lol...bought the water witch 101, 15amp is enough for both 500 Rules.... we'll give it a shot

Rule 500 will run dry all day long and not burn up
they are designed that way

ive always said no to auto float bilges, they will kick off and on and burn the motor out. a simple switch and you set.

FALSE, handlebar switches fail ALL the time. I've NEVER heard of a Rulemate failing.

No they won't. Plus switches fail too. I'd rather only have one piece of equipment to reply on and maintain versus two.

... he didn't film how it acts in the surf with all the up and downs and jumps and so on... if the switch inside the rule-matic "box" is like this: it will go up and down because of the ski's movements and not because of water in the bilge... so it will start and stop the bilge continuously and burn the motor...

Yes, but why? I'll never ever ever ever use a switch again. (Actually, I haven't since 1998, same bilge still works, that is 16 years)

A manual switch with two pumps and two bilge outlets. Each pump with its own fuse. Switch toggles both on or off. Never had any dramas
