You have multiple methods for uploading files on x-h2o now.

1. Use the attachment feature on a post. Images will be automatically resized to 870 max on either dimension.
  • click Manage Attachments in the Additional Options section under the post entry box
  • Browse for the files you want or enter their URL's in the boxes, then click Upload
  • Close the window then they are done and finish your post
2. Use the gallery then link to the image. Images are also automatically resized to 870 max on either dimension.
  • go to the Gallery
  • if you have not created an Album before, click Create/order my albums
  • click New, then change the New album to whatever you want to call it, then click Apply modifications and confirm the action
  • click Continue then click Upload file
  • Browse for the files you want or enter their URL's in the boxes, then click Continue
  • click Continue
  • select an album to place the image in using the dropdown box and fill in the extra info if you want, then click Continue, do this step for ALL files you uploaded
  • to link an image, navigate to the page for it, then click Linking Codes, copy the code you need, then paste it into a post
3. use photobucket.com, imageshack.com, or any other file hosting site and follow their instructions.

JETT, maybe a silly question, but I can't find the "linking codes" since the gallery has been brought back on line. Am I missing something?

Thanks for all the hard work, we all appreciate it.

I need to reinstall it. There are still a ton of things I haven't gotten around to since the hack.

i have tried different browsers, so I don't think that is my problem... but sometimes when upload large photos into my gallery, after all the files upload, and you get to the next screen that just has a button that says "continue", after clicking the continue button, it just goes to a blank screen, thus wasting that 1-10 minutes uploading the photos.

has anybody else had this problem?

I pretty much hate the gallery software. One of these days I'll change it...

That is your 'profile picture', not your posting avatar. It only appears on your profile page.

I believe the gallery software has been changed since this thread was made. I was wondering if we could get it updated. I believe I have seen folks post thumbnail links to their gallery photos and have them come up just like you clicked them in the gallery (ie dimmed background and enlarged photo on screen with a few buttons on it). I tried to get this to work today and couldn't get it figured out. I copied and pasted the first line of code below the image in the gallery and ended up with a thumbnail in my post but it wasn't clickable. Any help???

I still have some work to do on this theme to give full functionality and yes, this thread is outdated now.

Also, a new version of vbulletin is on the way that has a completely different gallery system, so what we have now is going to be outdated soon too.
