Aquabot question

I bought a aquabot and the bilge pump was glued down and broke lose I bought a billet superjet bilge bracket to mount it I midshaft. The pump hits the coupler. How are other aquabot owners mounting the pump

Mine was just installed the same as on a superjet with the bracket i think, il try find a pic.

Ok yea I figured the bracket would work but when u put the pump on it the pump hits the coupler

Cant find a picture with it installed but should be enough room. If you are running stock couplers maybe they could be bigger than the billet ones, not too sure mate

Yea is stock couplers the aftermarket billet are amaller

It's tight.. but I made it work

rough up the hull and bottom of the pump/ strainer good with 60 grit. clean it well and glue it back in with plastic epoxy, 3m panel bonder for plastic etc. I've never had one come loose, always need a chisel to break the bond when I have had to remove them. Good luck

Ok sounds good maybe I'll try that the epoxy I always used it always broke maybe I wasn't prepping good

I've always used jbweld on pump basket has worked great for me

We had that problem with the bracket putting the pump too close to the couplers recently. We put some washers under one side of the bracket and angled it enough to make it work. I like to turf top of pump as necessary to make coupler cover hold pump down as well.

Was this a dual or a single bracket

I'm just gonna run versa plugs for the remainder of the season then make a bracket
